August was special. August was interesting, all things considered. But now the autumn is coming (September 1 marked the beginning of meteorological fall and I am so here for it) and I need to figure out what to work on this season.
It’s been a special kind of special lately, and wrangling thoughts has been a bit hard. Usually this time of year I fall into reviewing old projects and poking them with sticks which, admittedly, may end up being what I do again this month. I intend to have a lot of thinking time before work in the mornings, since I’ve signed up for my first 5k (two, in fact, one virtual and one in person) in the coming months, so I’ll be increasing the distance on my morning walks gradually from here on out. Possibly more to come on that front, but I’ve found that the quiet time I spend doing my morning walks is good thinking time, too, which could lead to interesting project things.
