Prompt for March 25, 2014 – Day 84

Remember, guys, each day beyond Monday is one day closer to the weekend.

Prompt Type: Character Development

Prompt:  Think about your hero/protagonist and what motivates them.  Boil it down to one vice or virtue–love, greed, envy, fear, hope, etc.–that drives what they do.

Now change it up.  How would your protagonist be different if fear motivated them?  Write a character sketch or scene detailing how fear motivates the actions of your hero/protagonist.

Prompt for March 23, 2014 – Day 82

So I had an epiphany yesterday while working on When All’s Said and Done and it makes me excited to work in the UNSETIC/Lost Angels universe–even more excited that I have been in the past.

I love it when characters surprise me.

Prompt Type:  Change it up

Prompt:  Take a side character in the project that you’re working on and experiment with turning them into an antagonist–or perhaps a full-blown villain.  Write a few scenes that display their motivation and possibly their plans.  See where it all takes you.
