Prompt for August 20, 2014 – Day 232

We all made it to Wednesday!

Today’s prompt is for all of the romance writers out there (teehee).

Prompt for August 13, 2014 – Day 225

So you might be wondering what yesterday’s prompt was all about.  I live in the Metro Detroit area and got a call Monday night from my best friend who was letting me know that another friend of ours needed some help…with a basement that was flooding.  The Detroit Metro area got roughly 5 inches of rain on Monday which has caused major flooding of roadways, including major highways (as of Tuesday morning, the I-75/696 interchange was still under water).

While the flooding in our friends’ basement wasn’t as bad as we’d feared, the flooding on the roadways between where they were and my home north of the city was pretty extensive, and we witnessed it on the drive south and then on the drive back to my place.

On to happier things, though!  It’s Wednesday and that means we’re just about halfway to another glorious weekend.
