Happy Thursday–only two work days left in the week if you’re like me and have a MTWThF day job.
Today’s prompt is a new one, partially inspired by my dearly beloved sister-in-law Natalie, who we joke about wanting to be shipwrecked or otherwise trapped with simply due to what can be found in her purse.
Prompt type: Toolbox
Prompt: Come up with a character who might have the following array of items in a purse, backpack, their trunk, etc–then write a scene in which they use some (or all) of these items to save the day.
- Insulin
- Two pence, five pennies, a nickel, a pound sterling, and one gold dollar
- Dental floss
- Sugar-free mint gum
- A Swiss Army knife
- A cellular phone with 2% battery life left
- A D-cell battery
