Wednesday already, guys!  Only a few more days and then it’s the weekend all over again.

Prompt: Write a scene inspired by the following quote. It could be set in the time period when the quote was spoken, could involve the quote itself, or could simply be inspired by the theme of the quote.

Prompt for September 2, 2014 – Day 245

It’s Tuesday, and back to work for me (and most of us, right?)

I spent my Labor Day slaving over the edits for the deluxe/print edition of Awakenings: War Drums. I hope you had an equally lovely and productive Labor Day as well!

Today’s prompt is actually one of the chapter openers from War Drums.
